Our team loved volunteering at, and sponsoring, The Sharing Shelf’s Teen Boutique Events this past Spring, and… This summer, our 123organize team will be joining The Sharing Shelf again with it’s Backpacks to School initiative! Each summer, with support from the community, The Sharing Shelf buys new backpacks and fills them with grade appropriate school supplies for children in pre- kindergarten through high school. Working with teachers, they compile packing lists that ensure the backpacks have everything a student needs, allowing them to start school with confidence! – As the start of the school year approaches, we all feel the excitement and anticipation of student who is ready to come to class to learn. That first day of classes can be filled with many emotions. For some families, the cost of a backpack and school supplies can be overwhelming. For the children, the first day can be stressful as they begin without the tools they need. – Join is in supporting our students!
