|In our minds, fall is synonymous with cozy—and we believe cozy starts in the house. While your home may shine through visual accents, we believe homeyness is a sensory experience that accesses the other senses too, such as smell. And, to help, we’ve collected a list of some of our favorite crockpot recipes to make your home smell a-mazing! Even if you don’t have a crockpot or slow cooker, these can also be adapted for the stove (just follow the same directions and allow time to simmer).|
1. Rigatoni Alla Genovese
A hearty pasta dish, this is sure to be a weeknight crowd-pleaser. Using simple, flavorsome ingredients (and some good vino), a mind-blowing meaty sauce is created—the perfect complement to a wide variety of pastas.
2. Galbi Jjim (Korean Beef Short Ribs)
A wonderful way to prepare short ribs, this Korean recipe calls for fall-off-the-bone meat, earthy mushrooms, and sweet baby carrots, coming together in a delectable sauce that just begs to be ladled over some steamed jasmine rice.
3. Quinoa sweet potato chili
Perfect for vegetarians, or if you’re looking to cut back on your meat intake, this gorgeous chili is hearty enough to leave you full and happy. Using seasonal ingredients, like sweet potatoes, the richness of the sauce is carried by a medley beans and fluffy quinoa. Top with some avocado and cheddar!
4. Slow cooker butter chicken
A guaranteed show stopper (both for your tastebuds and nostrils) this slow-cooked butter chicken features a creamy sauce that’s enhanced with a moorish blend of Indian spices. Eat with grilled coriander and garlic naan bread to really go the culinary distance.
5. Slow cooker pumpkin bread pudding
Anything pumpkin is our fall dessert flavor of choice, and this pumpkin bread is truly a fantastic option. Sprinkled with pecans, it’s ooey, gooey, and begging to be eaten with vanilla or chai ice cream.
